Rahul Mali, MD, MPH is a third year Radiation Oncology resident at University of Kansas Health System. After graduating from medical school in India, he received MPH in Quantitative Methods with formal training in epidemiology and biostatistics from Harvard University. Thereafter, he conducted multiple research projects at New York University serving as a member of NIH funded team and published multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts. He also served as an Assistant director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research in a health analytics company. He has experience in building the health decision analysis models and real-world evidence generation projects. His research areas of interest are health economics, patient-reported outcomes and comparative effectiveness analysis to optimize quality of life in cancer patients.
