Francinna Scott-Jones is a knowledgeable professional specializing in the area of Healthcare Revenue Cycle. For the past 25 years, her focus has been specifically in the Radiation Oncology sector. She has been responsible for the revenue cycle process for both freestanding radiation oncology centers as well as outpatient hospital based facilities. In a previous role, she served as the Billing and Reimbursement Director of a Central Business Office for a large Radiation Oncology Practice Management Company. The Central Business Office was responsible for billing and collections for 24 practices located all over the United States. Francinna currently serves as the Financial Coordinator for the Radiation Oncology Department at Northside Hospital’s Cancer Institute in Atlanta, GA. Where she oversees, charge capture, billing, insurance verification, prior authorization and financial counseling for the hospital’s twelve locations.
She is passionate about working to close the disparity that exist when it comes to access to healthcare. Quality healthcare is a right that should be afforded to all people regardless of their race and/ or social economic background. She works diligently as a member of the Association of Community Cancer Center’s Financial Advocacy Network. This role aligns her with her goal to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. In addition working with ACCC gives her the necessary audience to express her concerns about the challenges patients face when dealing with the financial toxicity that comes with the diagnosis of cancer.
