Jennifer Chiang, MD, MS, is a third-year resident at Stanford Radiation Oncology. She was born and raised in Arizona before traveling to the East Coast to pursue her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where she majored in neurobiology and minored in East Asian studies. She then attended medical school at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Arizona, where she focused her dedication on patient advocacy and health disparities through research in Radiation Oncology, investigating the challenges patients face regarding accessibility to more advanced forms of radiation therapy. Simultaneously, she obtained an MS in the Science of Health Care Delivery, exploring insurance coverage barriers to proton beam therapy. She is interested in clinical research related to healthcare disparities, patient education, comparative outcomes, and novel radiation therapy technologies.
