Nicholas Gallardo is a 3rd year medical student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he attended high school. For his undergraduate education, he graduated from Wake Forest University. He is undecided about his specialty choice but is interested to learn more about Radiation Oncology. He has served as the volunteer chair for his class at Wake Forest University for one year and is now involved as the social chair for his student cohort in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has previously been involved in research projects including studying the factors that affect a patient’s time from surgery to radiation treatment with the Otolaryngology department at Wake Forest, as well as weight loss programs and their effects on Obesity in the Dermatology department at Wake Forest.
