Rohan Katipally is an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology at the University of Chicago specializing in the treatment of head & neck and gastrointestinal malignancies. He completed residency at the University of Chicago. He grew up in central New Jersey and completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University, majoring in Applied Mathematics-Biology. He continued at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University for his medical training. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center. His research interests include de-escalation paradigms for HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer, prognostic molecular and genomic biomarkers in oligometastatic cancer and radiation therapy, and combinations of stereotactic body radiation therapy and immunotherapy.
