Dr. Yuta Sekino is a Project Manager at the Asian Partnerships Office, Department of International Clinical Development, National Cancer Center Hospital, currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a board-certified radiation oncologist and cancer therapist, focusing on international collaborative research and clinical trial management. Dr. Sekino received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Tsukuba, where he also completed his residency under Professor Sakurai. His career spans roles at the University of Tsukubas Department of Radiation Oncology, the Japan Clinical Oncology Group (JCOG), and now the National Cancer Center Hospitals ATLAS project. Dr. Sekinos research interests include proton beam therapy applications and multi-institutional clinical trials in oncology. He has co-authored several high-impact papers in journals such as The Lancet Respiratory Medicine and Annals of Oncology, and has been awarded travel grants by the Japanese Society of Radiation Oncology.
