Dr. Feng-Ming Hsu earned his medical degree at the National Taiwan University School of Medicine and his doctoral degree at the National Taiwan University Graduate Institute of Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics. He completed his radiation oncology residency from National Taiwan University Hospital and received fellowship training from National Institute of Cancer Research (Taiwan). He subsequently served as attending physician in the Department of Oncology at National Taiwan University Hospital and joined as a clinical faculty in the Graduate Institute of Oncology at National Taiwan University. He is now the director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at National Taiwan University Cancer Center.
Dr. Hsu is a board-certified radiation oncologist and specialized in thoracic oncology, neuro-oncology, hepatic oncology, supportive and palliative radiation oncology. He is experienced in stereotactic ablative radiotherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery for both intracranial and extracranial primary or metastatic diseases. Dr. Hsu is actively involved in radiation oncology and radiation biology research and has published in prestigious journals as well as presented his work at international meetings. He is the principal investigator of research grants support by pharma company and the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan). He is also a reviewer for the Red and Green journals. His research focus is also on development of investigational radiation therapy, translational research, artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and clinical trials in radiation oncology.
