Jared Bassmann is a third-year medical student with an interest in Radiation Oncology and its intersections with care for gastrointestinal malignancies. After his first year of medical school, he worked as a Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in the Department of Radiation Oncology. During his undergraduate years, he conducted pancreatic cancer research in the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery at MSK. His research interests include exploring the integration of ablative radiotherapy with surgical treatments for gastrointestinal cancers.
