As Chief Resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin, I am deeply committed to advancing the field through both clinical practice and academic contributions. My journey in medicine is driven by a passion for high-quality, evidence-based care and a dedication to holistic patient-centered approaches.
I am an active member of the Wisconsin Radiological Societys Resident/Fellow Board of Directors and have made academic contributions via peer-reviewed publications. My career has also been enriched by diverse international experiences, including rotations in medical oncology and palliative care in Brisbane, Australia, primary care in Guadalajara, Mexico, and advanced training at the Heidelberg Heavy Ion Therapy Center in Germany, supported by a fellowship from the American College of Radiation Oncology.
In addition to my clinical and academic achievements, I have a strong interest in medical education, serving as an editor for RadOncQuestions and tutoring fellow residents. My contributions to research and public health have been recognized with several awards, including the Paul Ambrose Scholars Award and a commendation from the United States Public Health Service.
I am also an advocate for healthcare policy, having actively participated in initiatives at the state and federal levels with the American College of Physicians, the Wisconsin Medical Society, and the National Coalition for Cancer Survivors.
