Tafadzwa Mapiki, DO, BS

Student Doctor Tafadzwa Mapiki is a first year medical student pursuing a D.O. degree at Nova Southeastern Uiversity. She completed her undergradaute degree in Biological Sciences at Youngstown State University in Ohio. Tafadzwa Mapiki plans to become a physician who also focuses on oncology research. She has done research with the University of Florida College of Medicine on phenotypic characterization of gammaherpes virus tumorigenesis in 2022. She also completed research with the Mayo Clinic in 2023 on perihillar cholangiocarcinoma. These two projects will be published and student doctor Tafadzwa will be a coauthor on these publications.
