Dr. Ahmad Kh. Ibrahimi is radiation oncologist from Jordan. He was born in the United Arab Emirates. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan. He completed his radiation oncology residency at King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Jordan and got board certified in radiation oncology. Afterwards he pursued his fellowship at the University of Toronto/ Princess Margaret Cancer Center and at the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada where he subspecialized in pediatric tumors, Central Nervous system tumors and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
He has special interest in pediatric solid tumors and Central Nervous System tumors both in pediatrics and adults. He has been treating all types of pediatric tumors since 2013. By being in charge for pediatric tumors in a regional referral center like KHCC, he is familiar with treating many rare pediatric tumors.
He has experience with both Gamma Knife and Linac – based X-knife.
He has authored and co-authored several publication in international journals.
He also has an interest in teaching and education with frequent lectures to residents and fellows and has been a permanent faculty for a teaching course about radiation for the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission.
