Jessica is a third year medical student at Case Western Reserve University. Her first experience that influenced her interest in oncology was volunteering as a student researcher in the MSKCC Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program investigating the expressional profiles of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. In her preclinical years, Jessica was involved with CWRUs Student Run Health Clinic as the MD Clinical Coordinator and co-led CWRUs Cancer Care Elective and Radiation Oncology Interest Group. She is currently a co-chair for Applied Radiation Oncologys Medical Student Webinar, Podcast, & SoMe Committee. Her research interests and projects include evaluating risk factors and treatment outcomes of radiotherapy for patients with CNS cancers and identifying cancer patients at highest risk of death from competing causes of death such as cardiovascular disease.
