Dr. Anderson, PhD, DABR, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Physics at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He completed his residency at The University of California, San Diego, and earned his PhD and Masters degrees in Medical Physics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at MD Anderson.
His research focuses on deep learning applications in Medical Physics. He serves as an Associate Editor for The International Journal of Medical Physics Research and Practice. He is a member of the TG-263 committee on Standardizing Nomenclature in Radiation Oncology and the Machine Intelligence Sub- committee (MIS). Dr. Anderson is passionate about developing innovative tools for clinical and research workflows and providing facilitating tools for others interested in medical imaging deep learning.
