I recently completed my Masters degree at UC Berkeley in Information Science, and joined UCSF as a research specialist last year. My background broadly spans physics, engineering, and computer science, and I have found medical physics and radiation oncology to be an exciting and rich field to apply these skills to. My current research focuses on the application of quantitative contrast-enhanced imaging to rigorously identify, measure, and spare highly functional areas of the liver with non-coplanar treatment planning optimization. Now, I am excited to be attending ASTRO this year to learn more about the fields of medical physics and radiation oncology, and meet experts in these fields! In my free time I like to ski, cook (and eat), and explore the Bay Area by bike.
