Ameer Elaimy is a PGY3 radiation oncology resident at the University of Michigan. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts MD/PhD program in 2021 where his thesis elucidated mechanisms that contribute to TNBC cancer stem cell function, DNA repair and therapy resistance, which was funded by a Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA F30 award from the NCI and an AMA Medical Student Seed Grant. His research interests include translational oncology in GI, CNS and GU malignancies.
