The American Board of Radiology
Springfield, MA
I have been working at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts since graduating from residency at Tufts New England Medical Center in 2004. My professional training began at Colby College with a focus in biochemistry and science and technology. This was followed by obtaining my medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine where my interest in radiation oncology was first piqued. Over the past 19 years, I have gradually taken on more administrative responsibility including assuming the role of Division Chief in 2017. Although I am in a private practice, I have remained academically involved by teaching fellows, residents and medical students as well as volunteering with the ABR, ACRO, ACR and the UMass-Chan Medical School. My volunteer time with the ABR began in 2013 as a member of the written exam committee. I have gradually increased my volunteer responsibilities including assuming the chair of the lymphoma/leukemia oral board committee in 2018 which has been a highlight of my career. I truly enjoy meeting and working with everyone involved at the ABR including the diplomates and candidates. I have always believed that the field of radiation oncology chose me and it is very gratifying to give back.
I assumed the role of Associate Executive Director for Radiation Oncology (RO-AED) in January of 2023 and I look forward to continuing and improving the tradition of excellence, collegiality and communication that has become synonymous with the ABR
