I am a radiation oncologist with clinical and research interests in the use of radiotherapy for the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal cancer (esophagus, stomach, liver, bile duct, pancreas, colon, rectum, and anus). Specifically, I am interested in identification of biological or radiologic predictors of treatment response, advanced radiotherapy technologies (proton beam therapy, intra-operative radiotherapy, adaptive radiotherapy), multidisciplinary cancer care (incorporating radiotherapy with chemotherapy and/or surgery), and clinical trials with the aim of improving quality of life and oncologic outcome for patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
I also serve as the residency associate program director and have considerable passion for clinical medical education.
