Dr Hannah Ayettey Anie is a Senior Specialist Radiation/ Clinical Oncologist who completed her Medical training at the University of Ghana Medical School and was awarded the MBChB degree in April 2004. She completed one year of internship at the KorleBu Teaching Hospital and thereafter was admitted to the National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre as a medical officer in April 2005. Dr Ayettey joined the Radiation Oncology Residency program at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in September 2007 and qualified as a Member in September 2012 and subsequently as a Fellow of the College in December 2017.
Dr Ayettey Anie is a researcher with current interests in Breast, Head and Neck and Gastrointestinal Cancers.
She is the Chair of the Faculty of Radiology, Oncology and Radiotherapy of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and trainer and mentor at the National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre. She is also currently the President of the Breast Society of Ghana.
Dr Ayettey Anie is the Secretary General for the African Organization for Research and Training in Cancer, AORTIC. She is affiliated to other International Oncology Organizations including, European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASC0) and European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).
She has attended several international conferences on Radiation and Clinical Oncology which has significantly impacted positively on the management of her patients.
