Elizabeth Covington is a medical physicist and an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan. Her clinical and research goals focus on improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of radiotherapy treatments. She serves on multiple committees within UM, AAPM, and ASTRO that focus on ensuring high quality patient care. Dr. Covingtons interests also include diversity and inclusivity within the field of medical physics and health equity in radiation oncology. Dr. Covington also serves as the Director of Quality and Safety in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Michigan Medicine.
