Dr. Douglas Prah, PhD, DABR, is an accomplished Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. With expertise in medical dosimetry and a commitment to advancing patient care and safety, Dr. Prah plays a pivotal role within his department and beyond.


At the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Prah leads the Medical Dosimetry division and serves as Chair of the Service and Technology Implementation and Review Committee. His dedication to patient safety is evident through his membership on the Patient Safety & Quality Committee, where he oversees the Comprehensive Quality Management Program. Dr. Prah also contributes significantly to operational efficiency as a member of the Radiation Oncology Clinical Operation Committee and chairs the Accreditation Committee, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.


Beyond his institution, Dr. Prahs influence extends nationally through his involvement in ASTRO and AAPM. He is a valued ASTRO’s Education Committee member, contributing to radiation oncology education.
