Dr. Hattangadi-Gluth is an Associate Professor of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences, Chief of CNS Radiation Oncology, and Co-leader of the CNS Disease Team at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego. She is also Associate Director of the Center for Precision Radiation Medicine at UC San Diego and runs the Translational Brain Imaging Lab. She serves on the NCCN Panel for CNS Tumors, and is an active ASTRO member with focus on the CNS educational and scientific committees. Her lab examines the in vivo effects of radiotherapy on normal brain tissue using quantitative neuroimaging and neurocognitive and quality of life sequelae after brain radiation. She receives research grant funding from the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute and American Cancer Society. Dr. Hattangadi-Gluths clinical and teaching focus is on primary and metastatic brain and spine tumors, and advanced neuroimaging. Her twitter handle is @JHGlab and email is jhattangadi@ucsd.edu.
