Suzanne Evans, MD, FASTRO

Dr. Evans is associate professor of therapeutic radiology at Yale University School of Medicine. Her clinical focus is breast cancer. She is also passionate about patient safety, understanding and mitigating cognitive bias, and professionalism. She is associate director of the Radiation Oncology residency program at Yale, is Vice Chair of the Radiation Oncology Health Advisory Committee (the analysis arm of the Radiation Oncology Incident Learning System), and is Vice Chair of the Best of ASTRO meeting. This ASTRO will mark the end of her term as an Executive Editor at Practical Radiation Oncology.
