Dr. Singer is an attending physician, Assistant Professor, and Clinical MRI Director in Radiation Oncology at UCSF. She is board-certified in both radiation oncology and MRI safety. Since completing a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley and University of California, San Francisco, focusing on breast MRI, she has devoted her career to advancing the use of MRI for breast cancer, lung cancer, and other malignancies. Prior to joining the faculty at UCSF, she worked as an attending physician at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School for three years where she served as MR Medical Director and Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology. Her research focuses on the use of imaging to improve our ability to predict tumor response to treatment, and to target tumors with radiotherapy.
