Stuart H. Burri, M.D. is the Chairman of Radiation Oncology for the Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) and President of Southeast Radiation Oncology Group (SERO). The LCI is the decentralized Cancer Institute of Atrium Health, which is the second largest non-profit health system in the country. SERO is the largest single specialty, physician owned, radiation oncology group in the country with more than 30 board certified radiation oncologists. SERO treats ~700 patients per day at nineteen centers with state of the art radiation therapy. Dr. Burri trained at Emory University and practices in Charlotte, NC. His research interest is primarily in the area of brain metastases, particularly in the management of lesions that require resection.
