Alex Pastuszak, MD, PhD is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and physician-scientist. He holds a MD and PhD from UCSF, and is Associate Professor of Andrology and Male Infertility in the Department of Surgery at The University of Utah School of Medicine. Alex has more than 15 years experience in the healthcare industry and has been a founder and founding executive team member in several companies.
As a physician-scientist, Alex specializes in the treatment of male infertility and sexual dysfunction and runs a NIH-funded research program investigating the genetic factors that cause male infertility, Peyronie’s disease, and erectile dysfunction. Early in his career, Alex developed the "Vas Reverse" iOS app to educate and guide patients seeking vasectomy reversal and connect them with urologic surgeons and founded Woven Health, a digital health company focused on empowering medical professionals to deliver higher quality, more efficient, and more accountable patient care.
Alex continues to explore the intersection between medicine and technology through his work facilitating commercialization of ground breaking healthcare technologies and advising startups in the healthcare and biotechnology space.
