Considering the diverse and unique challenges faced by Latin American physicians in their medical practice, it is imperative to incorporate a special session dedicated to this demographic at our upcoming international medical meeting. Having a session in Spanish will decrease language related issues and will facilitate understanding of the topics. Latin American health care professionals often operate within resource-constrained environments, facing distinct limitations that necessitate tailored discussions and solutions. Moreover, their clinical practices may differ from the usual American standards due to various factors, including socioeconomic disparities and varying health care infrastructures. Therefore, having sessions that include American and Latin American speakers would help to complement each others experiences as they will be able to share best practices, innovative approaches, and relevant insights that can enhance the quality of health care delivery in these unique contexts. Additionally, the session can serve as a forum to bridge communication gaps and to facilitating a more inclusive and collaborative environment. This session has an established history in serving the needs of ASTROs Latin American members.
