Dr. Mohamed is a radiation oncologist and a research scientist with a PhD degree in Clinical Translational Oncology. Dr. Mohameds main research focus is to develop novel bio-imaging based platforms that allow for biologically modulated adaptive radiation therapy for future personalized treatment applications. This involves the integration of multimodality imaging methodologies, biomarkers identification and characterization, imaging-guided dose-response assessment for tumor and normal tissues, multimodality image registration, adaptive therapy planning, patterns of failure characterization and oncologic outcomes correlation.
