Matthew Katz, MD, FASTRO

Matthew Katz is a community based radiation oncologist practicing in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He completed residency in 2003 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before joining the faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital 2003-4. He then joined Radiation Oncology Associates in 2004, where he is now a partner.



Dr. Katz has remained active in teaching, research and outreach. His focus has been on the doctor-patient relationship, health communications, cancer survivorship and the use of social media in medicine. He has previously served as Chair of Communications Committee for the ASTRO and the Massachusetts Medical Society and currently serves as Chair of the Taxonomy Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
