Board-certified Radiation Oncologist. Completed RadOnc residency at UMich. Double Duke graduate (BSE, MD) and earned an MPhil in Oncology degree from the University of Cambridge focusing on machine learning.
Proud alumna of the NIH NCI Molecular Imaging Branch (MIB) and an MRSP (Medical Research Scholars Program) Fellow, which focused on prostate cancer multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) projects, PSMA PET/CT, and other novel imaging modalities in genitourinary oncology.
Now working as a radiation oncologist with the locums agency Barton Associates and serving in multiple local, regional and national leadership roles including as the AMA ACRO Alternate Delegate to the House of Delegates, one of four individuals formally representing radiation oncology in the AMA. Proud member of ROECSG (Radiation Oncology Education Collaborative Study Group), for which I am the Co-Lead of the Patient Education Working Group and the Founder and Co-Editor-in-Chief the ROECSG Report periodical. I also serve on several ASTRO committees and the HEDI Council. I am also the Founder and Lead Co-Anchor of the Spotlight On Advocacy and Policy (SOAP) Podcast, an official podcast of the ACRO GREC (Government Relations and Economics Council), and was a co-founder and co-host of the Accelerators Podcast for Seasons 1 and 2. I have also been featured on the ASCO Podcast focusing on Trainee Burnout.
I enjoy mentoring students and residents and am very honored to be featured in ARRO Day as a Faculty Mentor this year at the ASTRO 2024 Annual Meeting.
