Professor Youlia M. Kirova, MD (youlia.kirova@curie.fr) is a senior radiation oncologist, Professor of Radiation Oncology in the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Institut Curie, Paris and associate professor of University Versailles St Quentin. She is involved in the breast cancer research and treatment, as well as the research and treatment of haematological malignancies. Involved in patients’ care as well as in the clinical and translational research, she participates in the development of new treatment protocols, innovations in radiotherapy techniques.
Youlia Kirova is involved in teaching nationally (SFRO, FROG, SFSMP) and internationally, as a teacher in the annual ESTRO (European Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology) teaching courses as well as ESO, ESSO.
She is an active member if the Steering Committee ILROG (International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group). Pr Kirova is a vice president of FROG (Francilian Onco Geriatric Group) and Member of International SIOG Radiotherapy Task Force, Former Member of SKAGEN Breast Cancer Group and also co-chair of PTCOG Breast Sub Committee.
She is Deputy Chief Editor of Cancer Radiothérapie, and member of Editorial committees of International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, European Journal of Surgical Oncology, Innovations & Thérapeutiques en Oncologie
Visiting Professor in Harvard University, USA (2018-2023)
Pr Youlia M. Kirova is PI in numerous national and international phase I, II, and III studies. She is involved in the translational work of the Institut Curie, Paris.
