Julie Kang, MD PhD is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Yale University School of Medicine Department of Therapeutic Radiology. Her clinical specialties are in the treatment of H&N and genitourinary malignancies. She has devoted her career to improving outcomes, quality of life, and equity for cancer patients. She serves as a Community Outreach and Engagement Liaison at Yale Cancer Center and on the NRG Oncology H&N Cancer Health Equity and Diversity Working Group. She has published numerous manuscripts on treatment de-escalation in H&N cancer and on reirradiation. Prior to joining the faculty at Yale, she worked as an attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for four years and at Kaiser Permanente in southern California for three years.
