Ruijia (Rachel) Jin is a fourth-year medical student at the University of British Columbia whose research work aims to combine her interests in patient advocacy, medical education, and oncology. Rachel is currently working to examine how mentorship, research, education, and longitudinal attachment to a specialty impacts medical student retention and the factors that inspire students to pursue radiation oncology.
