Timothy Meier, R.T.(R)(T)
Timothy has been practicing in radiation oncology at the Cleveland Clinic for more than 38 years. He is a radiologic technologist and radiation therapist and has been in his current role of quality coordinator and project manager for 32 years.
As the quality assurance and quality improvement program coordinator, Timothy coordinates all quality conferences, attends all quality assurance meetings throughout the Cleveland Clinic network, and orientates all new employees to quality, patient safety, and compliance in radiation oncology.
In addition, Timothy serves as the systems administrator for the department EMR. Responsibilities include supporting staff with applications training, supporting interfaces between hospital electronic medical record systems and the department R&V, integrating new departments and merging data bases. Process improvement program development and enterprise standardization has been a focus for the last 16 year.
Timothy has been an ASRT and OSRT member for more than 30 years. He is published in quality improvement articles and has presented his work at several conferences.
