An Liu, Ph.D, DABMP currently serves as a clinical professor and the Director of Radiation Physics at the City of Hope National Medical Center. Dr. Liu is a board-certified radiation oncology physicist and plays an important leadership role in City of Hope’s clinical and research program. Dr. Liu has been active in medical physics society and served in multiple officer roles including the president of AAPM in Southern California Chapter. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics. Dr. Liu pioneered in Radioimmunotherapy dosimetry and IMRT based Total Marrow Irradiation to replace conventional Total Body Irradiation. He has published extensively, lectured and conducted workshops on medical physics and healthcare management in both the US and Asia. Dr. Liu earned his B.S. in physics from Beijing University and later earned his PhD in Biomedical Physics from UCLA School of Medicine.
