Guanyu Gong, PhD

Dr Guanyu Gong is an associate professor of Dalian University, Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital. Guanyu obtained his MSc degree from Glasgow University, UK and phD degree in cell and molecular bioscience from Newcastle-upon-Tyne University, UK in 2010. Guanyu worked for Massachusettes Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2018 as a postdoc trainee (and later on, research associate), focusing on the molecular mechanism of inflammatory bowel disease and cancer initiation of colorectal cancer. After several years working in NGS industry, Guanyu started the current work with specific research interest in hyperthermia treatment to cancer and combination of targeted therapy with immunotherapy for better cancer treatment.
