Xiandong Zhao, PhD

Xiandong Zhao, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiation oncology at Washington Unviersity in St. Louis. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University in St. Louis in 2021, and then completed his residency in Medical Physics at Washington University in St. Louis in 2023. Before that, he received his PhD in Particle Physics at Southern Methodist University. Xiandong currently has multiple interests in medical physics research including proton therapy, FLASH, and nanoparticle aided RT.
