David Parsons, PhD

Dr. Parsons is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Medical Physics Residency Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is the lead physicist for the breast disease oriented team and currently specializes in adaptive radiation therapy (ART), surface guided radiation therapy (SGRT) and volumetric modulated arc therapy for total body/total marrow lymphoid irradiation. His current research involves SGRT guided deep inspiration breath holds for stereotactic body irradiation, pediatric induced sedition effect, collision space mapping and cone-beam based ART.
