Emily Draeger is a board-certified medical physicist at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and an Assistant Professor at Yale. Prior to joining Yale, Emily worked as a postdoctoral fellow and research physicist at the University of Maryland, carrying out research related to proton range verification and providing physics and dosimetry support for radiobiological studies. She earned her PhD from Illinois Institute of Technology and completed a post-graduate certificate in medical physics at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses include investigating the use of biology-guided radiotherapy, automatic segmentation and its use in stereotactic radiotherapy, as well as applicator design and modeling in brachytherapy.
