Dr. Muneeb, originally from Pakistan, is currently a Radiation Oncology Fellow specializing in advanced site-specific training at McGill University in Canada. He obtained his MBBS degree from Dow Medical College, Karachi, in 2012. Following his specialty training in Radiation Oncology at Aga Khan University, Karachi, he successfully passed the post-graduation examination conducted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) in 2018.
Dr. Muneeb’s career path includes serving as a Senior Instructor at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, a JCIA-accredited dedicated cancer institute in Pakistan. His work has earned him both national and international awards. Additionally, he completed one month clinical attachment at Gemelli Advanced Radiation Therapy Centre in Rome, Italy, where he focused on mastering advanced radiation techniques. Notably, ESTRO selected his application for a mobility grant to support this endeavor.
His primary areas of interest encompass Genitourinary (GU) oncology, Neuro-oncology, and Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for lung cancer.
