Specialized in Radiation Oncology at the University Hospital of Cruces (Barakaldo-Vizcaya) (2006-2010) with a specific training in brachytherapy (ICO LHospitalet - Institut Català dOncologia). Diploma of Advanced Studies in the Department of Surgery, Radiology and Physical Medicine of the University of the Basque Country (2009).
Associate physician in the Radiation Oncology Department at Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital (2010-present) and La Luz Hospital Madrid (2018-present). Co-responsible and consultant for CNS and breast areas in both radiotherapy services. Collaborating professor at the European University of Madrid. Member of SEOR (Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology) breast cancer and CNS working groups. Member of GEINO (Grupo Español de Investigación en Neurooncología- Spanish Neurooncology Research Group), ESTRO (European Society of Radiation Oncology) and EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer).
I am particularly interested in CNS tumors-both primary and metastatic- and breast cancer -specifically in cardio-oncology and altered fractionations - having participated as an organizer and/or speaker at conferences on both matters.
Principal investigator or collaborator in research projects linked to the European University of Madrid, multicentric studies sponsored by Spanish scientific societies and clinical trials promoted by industry or international academic organizations.
