Dr. Nead is a physician-scientist assistant professor in the departments of Epidemiology and Breast Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Nead completed his MD at Stanford University, a masters in epidemiology at the University of Cambridge, and his radiation oncology residency training at the University of Pennsylvania on the Holman Research Pathway. His NIH and CPRIT funded research program focuses on understanding how acquired mutations in blood, known as clonal hematopoiesis mutations, interact with cancer therapies to impact patient outcomes.
