Soha Bazyar, MD, PhD

Soha Bazyar, MD, Ph.D., is currently a PGY-3 radiation oncology resident at University of Maryland Medical Center. She got her MD form Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran. After moving to the US, she got involved in the clinical research through which she was introduced to the preclinical research. She applied to the Ph.D. program in biomedical engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where her dissertation project involved evaluation of multiplanar radiation. Through this research, she found her ultimate carrier goal, which is becoming translational radiation oncologists.
