Dr. Elia is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS). He is an Associate Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. His research laboratory in the Krantz Center for Cancer Research at MGH studies mechanisms of genome integrity maintenance with a focus on replication-coupled DNA repair and strategies for improving immunotherapy through genotoxic perturbation. Dr. Elia holds a B.S. from Stanford University, M.D. and Ph.D. from HMS, and completed his residency training in the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program.
