Alison Tree was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Onncologist at The Royal Marsden Hospital in 2014, specialising in urological malignancies. She holds a Reader position at the Institute of Cancer Research. Her MD thesis was on stereotactic radiotherapy techniques for prostate and oligometastatic cancer.
She is a member of the UK SABR consortium committee and Lead GU Editor for the IJROBP. She is CI of the TRAP, DELINEATE, HERMES and PACE C trial and co-investigator of the PIVOTALboost and InPACT trials. Her research has received funding from Prostate Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK, the Rosetrees Trust, the JP Moulton foundation, and Elekta. She is prostate lead for the MR Linac consortium. She is also Oncology lead for the UK National Prostate Cancer Audit. Her current research interests include technical radiotherapy improvements in localised prostate cancer, oligometastatic and oligoprogressive disease.
