Leila Tchelebi, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiation Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. After graduating from NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Tchelebi did her residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Tchelebi’s research focuses on quality assurance in radiation medicine, standardization of care, and gastrointestinal (GI) oncology. Shes contributed her insights to guidelines on the treatment of several GI cancers, including pancreas, stomach, and hepatobiliary malignancies and on advancing quality assurance both locally within radiation oncology departments and on national clinical trials.
