Candice Johnstone, MD, MPH is a Professor of Radiation
Oncology and the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology
at the Froedtert West Bend Cancer Center. She received her
undergraduate degree from Harvard University, her MD from
New York University and her MPH from Harvard Chan School
of Public Health. She completed her radiation oncology residency
at the Joint Center for Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical
School. Her areas of expertise include breast cancer, thoracic
malignancies and palliative care. She edited a popular text “The
Handbook of Palliative Radiation Oncology.” Among her national
roles, she serves as the President of the Society for Palliative
Radiation Oncology and is a trustee for the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists. She joined the faculty of MCW in 2011.
She loves taking care of people through their cancer journey and
beyond. She lives in Shorewood with her husband and daughter,
Madeline, and her two Brittanys.
