Dr. Dandan Zheng is a Professor and the Director of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Rochester. Prior to this, Dr. Zheng also worked as a faculty at University of Nebraska Medical Center and Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Zheng is a Fellow of the AAPM and serves many professional societies including AAPM, ASTRO, IOMP, SDAMPP, CAMPEP etc. Dr. Zheng’s clinical and research interests include quantitative imaging, advanced imaging guidance and adaptive radiation treatment, artificial intelligence (AI), technology improvement and innovation in SRS, SBRT and brachytherapy, and synergistic immune-radiotherapy. She has developed radiomics-based prediction models for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and risk stratification, other AI-based methods for radiotherapy planning and dosimetry, and novel target prediction and antigen identification methods for immunotherapy.
