Dr. Rebecca Wong is a radiation oncologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Center, Professor and Vice Chair of Education, Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto. Her clinical interests are in the areas of gastrointestinal malignancies, radiotherapy for patients with metastatic cancer and theranostics. She has been active in the design and implementation of clinical trials, serving as the Chair of the Symptom Control Committee, Canadian Cancer Trials group, and has led several international trials in gastrointestinal malignancies and palliative radiotherapy. She has been active in knowledge translation and evidence based guideline development through the Cochrane Collaboration and Cancer Care Ontario Program in Evidence Based Care. She is active in the design of innovative educational offerings to bring research into clinical practice, to build radiotherapy capacity in LMIC through building collaborative partnerships, training and education. She is the author of over 130 peer-reviewed articles.
