Michael Howard, PhD

Biography


Michael Howard received his PhD from the University of Tennessee in Nuclear Engineering. He is currently the VP of Oncology and Chief of Medical Physics for Tennova Healthcare as well as Program Director for Medical Physics at the University of Tennessee. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Medical Physics (DABMP). In addition, he is an active member in the American of Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) committees, workgroups and task groups. He is an active member in the American Society of Theraputic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), including being a surveyor for the APEX accreditation program as well as serving on the accreditation subcommittee.
