Dr. Gillaspie is the Chief of Thoracic Surgery, Associate Professor with Tenure and Head of Thoracic Oncology at Creighton University Medical Center. Dr. Gillaspie completed her cardiothoracic surgery training at the Mayo Clinic and obtained a Master in Public Health while on faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a focus on clinical trial development. She has dedicated her career to the care of patients with lung cancer, working to enhance efficiency of care and access to care. Her research focuses on neoadjuvant and adjuvant clinical trials for early stage and locally advanced lung cancers.
